* Spearhead the development of Activewear and Sportswear products, staying ahead of the latest fashion trends and sourcing innovative materials to drive customer-specific collections. * Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers through effective communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely approvals. * Architect and maintain a comprehensive library of fabrics, trims, and finishes, including technical data and pricing information, to facilitate easy reference and informed decision-making. * Collaborate with the design team to develop and deliver high-quality samples that meet customer requirements, ensuring timely and accurate production. * Drive the merchandising cycle, overseeing all aspects from product development to shipment, and ensuring meticulous record-keeping and quality control. * Negotiate costs and prices with customers and vendors, creating detailed costing sheets and analyzing data to optimize profitability. * Ensure supplier compliance with nominated sources for trims and materials, maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity. * Provide actionable market intelligence to the business, forecasting potential cost fluctuations and informing strategic decisions. * Oversee quality control, working closely with quality personnel to monitor product quality and implement process improvements. * Develop and manage Time and Action plans, ensuring on-time shipment and delivery of all orders. * Build and maintain strategic relationships with fabric and textile mills, production facilities, and other suppliers, identifying opportunities for growth and development. * Continuously evaluate and improve factory performance, sourcing new suppliers and recommending process enhancements to drive efficiency and sustainability. * Lead production meetings with factories and QA teams, driving collaboration and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
