Key Responsibilities

* Drive business expansion by identifying and onboarding new customers, leveraging region-wise opportunities across the EU, USA, UK, and other key markets. * Architect a robust customer acquisition strategy, analyzing target customers based on profile, business potential, and sourcing strategy to fuel growth. * Explore and capitalize on opportunities across diverse product categories, including knit, woven, denim, outerwear, and more. * Foster and maintain strong relationships with top brands, retailers, and buying offices, ensuring long-term partnerships and collaborations. * Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer demand, informing business development strategies. * Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective clients, aligning with company capabilities to drive sustainable business growth. * Lead the product development process, coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and sourcing, to deliver high-quality products. * Source and procure suitable fabrics, trims, and accessories, ensuring alignment with buyer requirements and target pricing. * Manage supplier and mill relationships, negotiating material development, costing, and lead times to meet business objectives. * Oversee the sample development process, ensuring quality, timeline adherence, and proto, fit, and SMS sample delivery. * Develop and negotiate competitive pricing, preparing detailed and accurate cost sheets and quotations that consider all cost components. * Ensure seamless handovers to the respective Business Unit upon order confirmation, transferring all relevant documents and briefing the team on buyer requirements and product specifications. * Collaborate with development and execution teams to ensure alignment and smooth order execution, providing support during the initial stages of production. * Manage and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, product development, and business growth, informing future business development strategies.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising or Marketing

Additional Requirements

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
  • Strong sense of ownership, commitment to quality, and service-oriented mindset
