Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of capacity-building plans for caseworkers and volunteers, driving technical competence and practice in GBV case management.
* Foster a supportive team environment, providing emotional support and guidance to team members, and facilitating reflection and exploration sessions to enhance their technical knowledge and skills.
* Architect and deliver training programs for national staff and volunteers on GBV case management, ensuring they have the necessary skills to provide high-quality services to survivors.
* Drive the coordination of case management services, conducting individual supervision sessions, case file reviews, and case conferences to ensure effective support for survivors.
* Manage and coach case management volunteers, building their capacity as para caseworkers and providing direct support for complicated and difficult cases.
* Facilitate collaboration and communication with stakeholders, including protection colleagues, HR, finance, and operations departments, to ensure seamless program delivery.
* Represent the organization in camp-level coordination meetings and interagency taskforces, fostering relationships with service providers, donors, and relevant stakeholders.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring timely and appropriate services for survivors, and acting as a focal point for events and communications.
* Oversee data management, ensuring the accuracy and quality of GBVIMS data, and performing quality checks on reports, including monthly and yearly progress reports.
* Drive the development and implementation of data management tools, maintaining both hard and soft copies of data, and sharing monthly supervision reports and work plans with relevant stakeholders.
* Champion a culture of inclusivity and feminist leadership, promoting a supportive and empowering work environment that prioritizes the well-being and dignity of survivors.
Requirements
Experience
At least 3 years
Education
- Master of Social Science (MSS) in Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology
- Master’s degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology, or other relevant social science disciplines
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in GBV case management with NGOs/INGOs
- Prior experience in case management supervision and coaching
- Proficiency in using GBVIMS or similar case management systems
- Strong understanding of GBV case management principles and tools
- Effective communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in data management and reporting systems
- Capacity to provide training and coaching to diverse teams
- Empathy, resilience, and ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism
- Commitment to feminist leadership principles and anti-racism practices
