Key Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of GBV prevention programs, including Girl Shine, SASA! Together, MABE, WELP, and outreach initiatives, ensuring alignment with approved work plans and program objectives.
* Lead field teams to achieve high-quality program delivery, monitoring activity schedules, session delivery, and community engagement processes to identify gaps and provide timely technical and operational support.
* Architect and deliver technical guidance on gender-transformative approaches, positive masculinity, adolescent empowerment, and community-led prevention, ensuring safe, inclusive, and participatory facilitation practices across activities.
* Manage and supervise Associate Officers, providing direct supervision, mentoring, and coaching to enhance performance, capacity building, and professional development, while promoting staff wellbeing and teamwork.
* Foster community engagement and outreach, supervising volunteer activities to increase awareness on GBV prevention, gender equality, and positive social norms, and strengthening engagement with community leaders, women's groups, adolescent groups, and male role models.
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders, sector partners, and external agencies to ensure compliance with protocols, participate in GBV Sub-Sector meetings, and support referral linkages with GBV response, CP, Health, MHPSS, and Legal services.
* Oversee monitoring, reporting, and learning, tracking program indicators, documenting activities and outputs, reviewing reports, and contributing to situation reports, monthly and weekly reports, and success stories to drive program improvement and growth.
Requirements
Experience
2 to 4 years
Education
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Development Studies, Sociology
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
- Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Sociology, or a related field
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in GBV prevention or gender programming
- At least 1–2 years of experience supervising field teams or community facilitators
- Experience implementing community-based and adolescent-focused prevention programs
- Experience working in humanitarian or refugee contexts
- Strong understanding of GBV prevention, gender-transformative programming, and community mobilization approaches
- Familiarity with SASA! Together, Girl Shine, or similar models
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and monitoring skills
- Ability to analyze field challenges and provide practical solutions
