Key Responsibilities
* Drive comprehensive and confidential support for GBV survivors, adopting a survivor-centered approach that prioritizes dignity, safety, and empowerment.
* Lead GBV case management implementation, ensuring informed consent, accurate case registration, and initial assessments that respect survivors' autonomy and confidentiality.
* Facilitate seamless referrals to internal and external service providers, leveraging strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure survivors receive holistic support.
* Provide regular psychosocial support and follow-up, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and resilience.
* Architect case closure processes that adhere to established criteria, engaging survivors in feedback surveys to inform service improvement.
* Champion confidentiality and data protection, maintaining secure case files and adhering to the Information Sharing Protocol (ISP).
* Collaborate with government officials, service providers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth referrals and ensure access to comprehensive support services.
* Manage and supervise case management volunteers, offering technical guidance, capacity-building initiatives, and regular supervision to enhance their skills and confidence.
* Develop and implement awareness-raising campaigns, social mobilization activities, and events that promote GBV prevention and support.
* Analyze and report on GBV trends, submitting regular case tracker reports, narrative updates, and other required reports to supervisors and stakeholders.
* Input data into GBVIMS, ensuring adherence to data protection protocols and maintaining accurate records of case files and information tools.
* Embed feminist leadership principles and anti-racism practices within the organization, fostering a supportive environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
* Promote anti-racism practices, addressing power imbalances and ensuring that services are accessible and responsive to the needs of diverse survivors.
Requirements
Experience
At least 2 years
Education
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Social Work, Psychology
- Professional diploma/ University degree in social work, social studies, psychology/child`s psychology, counseling or any other related discipline.
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 02 years’ experience in the field of child protection / protection/ GBV/ social work / case management or a related field in humanitarian settings.
- Strong understanding of survivor-centered approaches and GBV guiding principles.
- Proficiency in using GBVIMS or similar case management systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and commitment to promoting gender equality and anti-racism.
