Key Responsibilities

* Drive the implementation of the Girl Shine curriculum at Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) and in community settings, focusing on adolescent girls' empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, and GBV prevention. * Architect and deliver skill-building activities, such as crafting, beautification, martial arts, yoga, hand stitching, and basic tailoring, to promote women's and girls' empowerment and economic development. * Lead and facilitate Girl Shine sessions, equipping adolescent girls and caregivers with essential skills and knowledge to address sexual and reproductive health and GBV prevention. * Develop and strengthen the capacity of Girl Shine Stars, ensuring they can effectively implement the program and support community members. * Manage and supervise Girl Shine Stars and team members in conducting focus group discussions, sessions, and meetings with adolescent girls and caregivers. * Design and deliver training activities for adolescent girls participating in the WGSS, promoting their well-being and empowerment. * Collaborate with community leaders and parents/guardians to plan and implement activities that support adolescent girls accessing the WGSS. * Provide psychosocial support activities, such as stress reduction techniques and trauma-informed care, to adolescent girls and caregivers, in close collaboration with the MHPSS officer. * Conduct community outreach, mobilization, and risk mitigation initiatives to promote the program and ensure its effective implementation. * Drive data collection and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of activities, participant feedback, and program outcomes. * Foster strong partnerships with AAB staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective program implementation and promote women's and girls' empowerment.

Experience

Skills

crafting, beautification, marbling art, yoga, hand stitching, and basic tailoring

Education

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Social Science, Anthropology, Fine Arts, Philosophy, Psychology, Social Work

Additional Requirements

  • 2-3 years of working experience with NGO and other social work in Cox’s bazar
  • Demonstrated ability to design, conduct, and facilitate skill-building sessions for women and girls
  • Ability to integrate GBV risk mitigation approaches within sessions, promote psychosocial well-being, and create safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for participants
  • Experience in engaging diverse groups, adapting sessions to participants’ needs, and ensuring dignity, safety, and confidentiality throughout all activities
