Key Responsibilities

* Drive the implementation of the SASA! Together methodology, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives, and facilitating training sessions for key stakeholders. * Lead monitoring and evaluation efforts, tracking progress and changes within the community, and conducting data collection activities, including focus group discussions, community assessments, and surveys. * Collaborate with community leaders and activists to design and implement initiatives that prevent violence against women and promote gender equality, and support the development of training programs and workshops for institutional strengthening. * Develop and implement activities that address safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and participants, and demonstrating a strong commitment to gender equality, GBV prevention, and economic empowerment. * Architect and maintain comprehensive records of activity observations, community change trackers, training sessions, and assessments, and contribute to the compilation of reports for donors, management, and stakeholders. * Facilitate effective communication and coordination among team members, serving as a focal point for field-level communication and liaising with community leaders, activists, and other stakeholders to support smooth program operations. * Build and maintain working relationships with key partners, including CiC, site management, service providers, and protection actors, to strengthen GBV prevention initiatives and participate in coordination meetings to provide updates on program progress. * Provide day-to-day supervision and mentoring to volunteers and assigned Community Leaders, Local Activists, and Institutional Allies, offering guidance and support to ensure effective program implementation. * Manage the preparation and submission of weekly and monthly reports, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion, and collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to ensure accurate data collection and reporting of project outcomes.

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Women Studies, Social Work
  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, Social Science, Social Work, Human Rights, Humanities, or a related field

Additional Requirements

  • Strong teamwork and coordination skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor volunteers
  • Basic understanding of program planning, implementation, and monitoring systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of feminist principles and gender equality frameworks
  • Fluency in Bangla and English
