Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead shelter and site improvement projects, driving timely and effective delivery that aligns with approved objectives and workplans. * Architect project budgets and cost controls, overseeing resource utilization, BoQs, and cost estimates to ensure cost-effective implementation and seamless fund flow. * Drive project timelines and implementation progress, identifying risks and delays, and initiating corrective actions to meet agreed schedules. * Champion quality assurance of shelter and site improvement interventions through rigorous field monitoring, compliance checks, and adherence to sector and organizational standards. * Collaborate with technical specialists, Camp Focals, and relevant teams to integrate technical inputs and address implementation challenges. * Develop and consolidate project reports, including biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and completion reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Contribute to proposal development, project documentation, and knowledge management in partnership with the Sector Lead and authorized teams. * Facilitate stakeholder coordination with Site Management Sector (SMS), CiC officials, and partners to ensure smooth project implementation. * Embed safeguarding, PSEA, gender equality, and inclusion principles throughout project implementation, promoting a culture of safety and respect. * Ensure the safety and well-being of programme participants, team members, and stakeholders, preventing harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA). * Promote and endorse safeguarding policies and standards among team members, fostering a safe working environment and encouraging incident reporting. * Lead by example, providing guidance and expertise on safeguarding, and following established reporting procedures in case of reportable incidents.

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors BSC in Civil Engineering

  • Leads and manages diverse field teams

  • Uses strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
