Key Responsibilities

* Drive financial management at the field level, ensuring seamless execution of accounts and administrative functions. * Spearhead operational and logistic support, delivering timely assistance to field-level teams and stakeholders. * Architect procurement plans, collaborating with the team to prepare and execute strategic procurement initiatives. * Manage budget alignment, ensuring consistency of financial activities and adherence to program interventions. * Develop and implement plans, modalities, and financial reports, maintaining close coordination with the Accounts Manager and upholding the financial policies of CNRS and donors. * Lead financial record-keeping, preparing and maintaining accurate accounts, vouchers, and banking records, including bank reconciliation reports. * Oversee daily financial transactions, verifying and processing travel expenses, conveyance bills, and other financial documents. * Coordinate logistics support services, including stationery, photocopying, vehicle management, refreshments, and office maintenance. * Ensure compliance with financial regulations, affixing revenue stamps, deducting income taxes, and depositing VAT and tax reports to relevant authorities. * Prepare and submit monthly financial reports, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software and petty cash management systems. * Facilitate financial audits, maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial transactions and activities.

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) in Accounting, Finance
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or relevant field

  • Excellent computer literacy especially MS applications and other accounting software

  • Strong writing and communication skills in English and Bangla
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Understanding local culture and languages is preferable
  • Abilities to undertake extensive travel to the project location
