Key Responsibilities

* Drive financial excellence across the region, ensuring discipline, transparency, and accountability in all branches * Architect and manage loan portfolios, cash flow, and fund utilization to optimize financial performance * Lead branch-level finance and accounts operations, supervising teams to achieve operational efficiency * Champion compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and donor guidelines * Conduct rigorous financial audits, spot checks, and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement * Develop and implement corrective action plans to address financial irregularities and strengthen internal controls * Foster a culture of integrity, designing and implementing anti-corruption mechanisms and internal control systems * Oversee the development and maintenance of digital financial systems, including real-time reporting dashboards * Analyze and interpret financial data, preparing regional financial reports, variance analysis, and forecasts to inform strategic decisions * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Internal Audit, Monitoring Unit, and Head Office Finance Division, to drive financial excellence * Develop and execute budgeting, financial planning, and cost optimization strategies at the regional level * Mentor and train branch accounts staff to build capacity and enhance financial management skills * Drive process improvements, identifying opportunities to streamline financial operations and enhance overall efficiency

Education

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CA (CC)/ACCA/CMA (partly/fully qualified)

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in finance/accounts
  • At least 3–5 years in supervisory/management role
  • Strong experience in field-level financial operations and audit
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Deep understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards
  • Risk assessment and problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MIS
