Advocacy Officer

* Drive the development of advocacy strategies and engagement plans in collaboration with the project team to achieve project objectives. * Architect communication and advocacy tools that highlight public interest issues and promote migrants' rights. * Conduct situational analyses and strategic reviews to inform organizational decision-making and identify engagement opportunities. * Foster strategic partnerships with government institutions, ministries, and other stakeholders to amplify advocacy efforts. * Lead research and analysis on policy developments relevant to the NGO sector and track policy landscapes to inform advocacy initiatives. * Build and maintain effective working relationships with government and non-government service provider organizations to advance OKUP's mission. * Manage policy research and dissemination of information to member organizations, ensuring timely and effective communication. * Collaborate in program planning processes, budgeting, and fundraising initiatives to drive program quality and growth. * Develop and submit high-quality reports, including quarterly, six-monthly, and annual organizational reports, to stakeholders. * Represent OKUP in various forums, promoting the organization's mission and advocacy agenda. * Oversee the implementation of the MIS system, tracking project participants and monitoring project performance to ensure data-driven decision-making. * Prepare regular progress reports, including fortnightly updates and monthly progress reports, to ensure transparency and accountability. * Ensure timely submission of quarterly, bi-annual, and annual reports, meeting organizational and donor requirements.
