Key Responsibilities

* Drive branch-level Micro Finance operations to achieve exceptional performance, financial discipline, and portfolio quality * Lead high-performing teams to exceed targets for loan disbursement, recovery, savings mobilization, and outreach, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability * Architect and implement strategic plans to maintain outstanding portfolio performance, ensuring OTR ≥ 98% and PAR ≤ 5% * Champion operational excellence, ensuring 100% compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements * Develop and execute cluster-based geographical models and digital Micro Finance systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and impact * Manage, motivate, and develop branch staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure exceptional performance and career growth * Conduct regular field visits, center meetings, and portfolio assessments to ensure program quality, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decision-making * Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and zero tolerance for financial irregularities and misconduct, ensuring the highest standards of integrity and ethics * Oversee cash management, documentation, and reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of branch performance reports * Analyze branch performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategic plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve processes, and enhance overall organizational performance, contributing to the achievement of ESDO's mission and strategic objectives

Requirements

Experience

5 to 7 years

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Master’s degree in Finance
  • Master’s degree in Economics
  • related discipline

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Micro Finance sector
  • At least 2–3 years in Branch Manager/Senior supervisory role
  • Proven experience in managing branch operations and portfolio performance
  • Strong leadership and branch management skills
  • Excellent client and stakeholder management
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Good reporting and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and accountability
