Key Responsibilities

* Drive regional Micro Finance operations to achieve high-quality program implementation, portfolio growth, and exceptional performance * Oversee and supervise Area and branch operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives * Architect and execute strategic plans to achieve loan disbursement, recovery, savings mobilization, and outreach targets * Manage and maintain optimal portfolio performance, ensuring an Outstanding Portfolio Rate (OTR) of 98% or higher and a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) of 5% or lower * Implement and monitor cutting-edge digital Micro Finance systems, including cluster-based SISTE and GIS tracking, to enhance operational efficiency * Foster a culture of discipline, compliance, and anti-corruption, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures * Lead and develop high-performing teams, including Zonal Managers, Branch Managers, Area Managers, and Field Officers, through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews * Conduct regular field visits and audits to identify operational gaps, provide timely solutions, and ensure seamless program implementation * Analyze performance data and market trends to inform strategic decisions, drive growth, and optimize regional operations * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, including financial inclusion, digital transformation, and community empowerment * Develop and execute regional plans to achieve ESDO's mission, vision, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in line with government development policies and agendas.

Requirements

Experience

8 to 10 years

Education

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Micro Finance sector
  • At least 3–5 years in supervisory/management role
  • Strong experience in field operations and branch management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Field-oriented problem-solving ability
  • Good analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination ability
  • Integrity and accountability
