Key Responsibilities
• Spearhead order tracking from confirmation to final shipment, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
• Drive shipment operations to meet targets and adhere to agreed-upon delivery schedules, guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly shipment status reports to inform stakeholders and guide decision-making.
• Oversee production workflows, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing, to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
• Proactively identify and address potential delays or bottlenecks, escalating issues to relevant teams and stakeholders as needed.
• Align production planning with shipment deadlines, ensuring a cohesive and effective approach to meeting customer demands.
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Production, QA, Commercial, and Warehouse, to ensure unified goals and objectives.
• Clearly communicate shipment priorities and expectations to all stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed and working towards common objectives.
• Coordinate with the commercial team to verify documentation readiness, including invoices and packing lists, to facilitate smooth shipments.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential shipment risks, such as shortages, delays, or quality issues, by developing proactive strategies and contingency plans.
• Implement corrective actions in partnership with relevant departments to address shipment challenges and ensure prompt resolution.
• Design and maintain accurate shipment tracking systems and dashboards, providing real-time insights and visibility into shipment operations.
• Provide regular updates to management on shipment status, progress, and any issues that may impact delivery timelines.
• Prepare and maintain audit-related shipment documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of critical materials, such as fabric, trims, and accessories, to prevent shortages and ensure timely replenishment.
• Develop and execute contingency plans for urgent shipments, ensuring prompt delivery and customer satisfaction.
