Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the management of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, and Finished Products, ensuring seamless receiving, storage, handling, and distribution in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
* Validate incoming materials against purchase orders and supporting documents, maintaining meticulous records in the Material Receiving Record and relevant registers.
* Drive inventory accuracy by maintaining up-to-date records of receipts, issues, transfers, and returns, ensuring real-time stock precision.
* Architect a robust material management system, ensuring proper segregation, identification, and status labeling of all materials in accordance with GMP requirements.
* Implement and monitor stock rotation systems, including FIFO and FEFO, to minimize expiry-related losses and optimize stock control.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality Control, and Commercial Departments, to ensure material availability and resolve discrepancies.
* Conduct regular physical stock counts, reconcile differences with system records, and investigate variances to ensure inventory integrity.
* Develop and submit key reports, including monthly consumption reports, finished goods dispatch reports, and daily stock updates, to inform business decisions.
* Champion Good Storage Practices and Good Distribution Practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Monitor and maintain optimal warehouse conditions, including temperature and humidity, to safeguard material quality.
* Proactively manage material expiry and retest dates, coordinating with Quality Control to initiate sampling and retesting requests as needed.
* Design, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures for warehouse and inventory management, driving process improvements and efficiency.
* Analyze inventory reports to identify trends, optimize operations, and support strategic decision-making.
* Lead the preparation for and participation in regulatory inspections, internal audits, and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Supervise and develop warehouse personnel, fostering a culture of compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
* Maintain a safe, organized, and clean warehouse environment, adhering to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of warehouse equipment, reporting any issues promptly to minimize downtime.
