Deputy Manager / Manager – Air Freight (USA & Europe Shipments)

* Spearhead end-to-end air freight operations for USA and Europe-bound shipments, driving seamless execution and customer satisfaction. * Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including shippers, buying offices, consignees, air carriers, and customs brokers, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. * Independently manage high-volume shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. * Collaborate with the Ocean Freight department to streamline Sea-Air shipments and capitalize on synergies. * Architect and maintain strategic partnerships with airlines, agents, and overseas partners to propel business growth and expansion. * Drive competitive freight rates and service agreements with airlines, leveraging market expertise and negotiation skills. * Proactively monitor shipment status, transit performance, and operational issues, resolving problems promptly to minimize delays and disruptions. * Ensure strict adherence to international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate risk and maintain compliance. * Orchestrate seamless shipment execution by coordinating with warehouse and operations teams, ensuring alignment and efficiency. * Deliver exceptional customer service by efficiently handling queries, claims, and service recovery, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction. * Develop and analyze operational reports, performance metrics, and market insights to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
