Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead policy initiatives by driving strategic partnerships, aligning with organizational goals, and advancing advocacy priorities to inform engagement strategies and strengthen institutional positioning.
* Lead and develop Policy Analysts by setting clear expectations, providing continuous feedback, and fostering professional growth to ensure high-quality policy advocacy work.
* Architect evidence-based policy recommendations by conducting in-depth research, analyzing data, and synthesizing global best practices to develop high-impact policy briefs and knowledge materials.
* Drive the development of strategic advocacy outputs by generating research insights, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring content is evidence-driven and aligned with advocacy goals.
* Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with government officials, policymakers, development partners, think tanks, and academia to position BRAC's advocacy agenda and advance organizational objectives.
* Design and coordinate national and international advocacy events to promote BRAC's policy priorities and strengthen its reputation as a leading advocacy organization.
* Champion safeguarding practices by protecting programme participants, team members, and individuals from harm, abuse, and exploitation, and maintaining a safe and respectful working environment.
* Embed safeguarding standards into all activities and operations by promoting, upholding, and applying organizational policies and reporting procedures to ensure a culture of safety and respect.
* Manage and respond to safeguarding incidents by following established reporting procedures, providing support and guidance, and encouraging team members to adhere to reporting protocols.
