Legal Officer, Litigation (SPO-FAVP)

* Spearhead litigation efforts by filing credit cases and civil suits against defaulting clients and representing the bank in court proceedings. * Oversee and drive the progress of pending cases and suits in subordinate courts and the High Court Division, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates. * Collaborate with panel lawyers to attend court hearings in subordinate courts and the High Court Division, providing strategic support and expertise. * Deliver regular case updates and status reports to management, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning. * Expedite the retrieval of court documents, including verdicts, interim orders, judgments, and decrees, by liaising with law chambers and court officials. * Work closely with the Head of Legal Division to develop and execute a litigation strategy that prioritizes early case disposal and aligns with the bank's overall objectives. * Undertake special projects and tasks as assigned by senior management to protect the bank's interests and drive business growth. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records by regularly uploading data to the Litigation Management Software, ensuring seamless case tracking and analysis.
