Key Responsibilities

* Lead the delivery of high-quality child protection case management services, ensuring a child-centered, rights-based, and ethical approach. * Drive the management of complex, high-risk, or sensitive cases, including abuse, neglect, exploitation, child labor, and child marriage, providing technical guidance and support to case workers. * Oversee day-to-day case management activities, including identification, assessment, case planning, referrals, follow-up, and case closure, in line with inter-agency guidelines and national frameworks. * Architect and implement effective supervision and team management strategies, providing regular case reviews, field mentoring, and coaching to CP Case Workers. * Manage and maintain accurate, complete, and high-quality case files, identifying capacity gaps and recommending training or coaching support. * Develop and implement robust documentation and information management systems, ensuring confidential, ethical, and secure storage and sharing of child protection information. * Facilitate seamless referrals and coordination with relevant services, including GBV, Health, MHPSS, Education, and Legal Aid, maintaining functional referral pathways and community-level coordination. * Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, supporting onboarding, orientation, and on-the-job learning for new CP Case Workers, and contributing to quality assurance processes. * Drive adherence to child safeguarding, PSEA, and Code of Conduct standards, promoting a safe and secure environment for children and staff. * Prepare and submit regular case management updates, reports, and inputs, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal documentation standards. * Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed, and staff wellbeing is prioritized, promoting a secure and supportive work environment.

Requirements

Experience

2 to 3 years

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, or related field

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in child protection case management
  • At least 1 year of experience supervising case workers or field teams
  • Experience working in humanitarian or refugee contexts preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CP Case Management Guidelines and Child Protection Minimum Standards
  • Experience with CPIMS+ and safe information management
  • Strong supervision, mentoring, and case analysis skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy
