Key Responsibilities

* Drive community-based child protection initiatives across multiple camps and centers, delivering structured Psychosocial Support (PSS) interventions that promote positive parenting and child wellbeing. * Lead community engagement efforts, fostering collaborative relationships with children, caregivers, community leaders, and volunteers to strengthen protective community mechanisms and promote awareness on child protection risks. * Architect and facilitate structured PSS sessions for children and caregivers, ensuring timely referrals and coordination with case management teams, while adhering to approved tools and child-centered approaches. * Manage roving support to CP centers, ensuring seamless implementation of daily activities, and provide operational support to the Associate Officer – MPC, including life skills sessions, scheduling, and space management. * Coordinate and support volunteer teams across multiple camps and centers, providing guidance, monitoring, and addressing minor issues, while promoting adherence to the Code of Conduct and safeguarding standards. * Champion safeguarding, ethics, and referral best practices, ensuring the application of PSEA, confidentiality, and best-interest principles in all activities, and responding appropriately to disclosures and referrals. * Develop and maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and community engagement sessions, informing monitoring and reporting efforts that drive program quality, consistency, and community engagement.

Requirements

Experience

1 to 3 years

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Development Studies, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in child protection, community engagement, or PSS programming.
  • Experience working across multiple locations or in a roving role is an advantage.
  • Experience in refugee or emergency contexts preferred.
  • Understanding of child protection principles and safeguarding.
  • Experience or willingness to learn structured PSS approaches.
  • Strong coordination, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload across multiple camps and centres.
