• Spearhead global supplier relationships to drive timely and cost-effective procurement of capital machinery, spares, and raw materials. • Foster collaborative partnerships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, financial institutions, insurance providers, and logistics companies to streamline import operations. • Architect and validate commercial documents for import and shipping activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Manage a centralized repository of import-related documents, invoices, and costs, maintaining meticulous records and ensuring regulatory adherence. • Develop and present insightful reports and analytics to track import performance, informing data-driven decisions that optimize plant operations. • Oversee shipping schedules and logistics workflows, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent delays. • Champion organizational and regulatory compliance across all import-related activities, mitigating risk and ensuring seamless operations.
