Key Responsibilities

* Drive the strategic direction and oversight of multiple donor-funded WASH projects, ensuring seamless integration and effective implementation across the NGO Forum. * Architect and execute project plans, budgets, and activities, providing technical guidance and support to project teams to achieve high-quality results and timely delivery. * Manage and coordinate field operations, tracking progress, identifying operational challenges, and facilitating coordination meetings to ensure alignment with project objectives. * Spearhead the development of high-quality reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports, and ensure compliance with donor requirements and NGO Forum standards. * Oversee budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and financial documentation, promoting financial integrity, transparency, and accountability, and supporting internal audits and external financial verifications. * Lead procurement operations, verifying documentation, and recommending approval of key procurement actions, while ensuring compliance with NGO Forum and donor procurement policies. * Foster strategic partnerships and collaborations with local authorities, sector partners, and implementing agencies, maintaining effective communication and coordination to advance the WASH response. * Represent the NGO Forum in strategic advisory groups, WASH sector coordination meetings, and other external forums, promoting the organization's mission, vision, and strategic planning. * Develop and implement sector strategies, guidelines, and plans, ensuring alignment with national strategies and NGO Forum's mission, vision, and strategic planning. * Provide technical assistance, oversight, and quality assurance for WASH program implementation, ensuring adherence to sectoral and SPHERE standards. * Drive knowledge management and capacity building, overseeing the collection, verification, and consolidation of field data, lessons learned, and case studies to inform program development and improvement. * Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, such as RRRC Office, DC Office, APBN, and DPHE, to ensure administrative compliance, collaboration, and effective project implementation.

Education

  • M.Sc. in Environmental Science
  • M.Sc. in Water Resources
  • M.Sc. in Climate Change
  • M.Sc. in Disaster Management
  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering

Additional Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of WASH programming
  • Sound understanding of donor compliance requirements
  • Proven knowledge of sectoral coordination mechanisms
  • Ability to provide strategic programmatic oversight
  • Strong skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
  • Demonstrated capacity to lead, mentor, and support multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with inclusion, gender, and protection mainstreaming in WASH programming
  • High level of organizational skills
