Key Responsibilities
* Drive the implementation of One Health initiatives, aligning with the project's annual work plan and strategic objectives.
* Design and deliver capacity-building programs and training sessions in public health and One Health, enhancing the capabilities of BIMSTEC Member States.
* Lead the coordination of One Health-related projects, including the establishment of a regional infectious disease observatory and the identification of a Regional Center of Excellence (RCoE).
* Develop and review technical documents, reports, and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the project scope.
* Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders and partners to ensure successful project outcomes and knowledge sharing.
* Organize and facilitate training workshops, capacity-building activities, and project meetings, including the preparation and dissemination of meeting minutes and reports.
* Liaise with key stakeholders, including the FAO Bangladesh team and Ministries of Health, to ensure seamless project implementation and coordination.
* Support the Project Coordinator in monitoring and evaluating project progress, ensuring alignment with objectives and efficient implementation.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of additional health-related initiatives within the BIMSTEC Science, Technology & Innovation, Health and Human Resource department, driving innovation and excellence.

Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, veterinary sciences, nursing, medicine, or a related health science field
- Advanced degree (masters) in Public Health (MPH)
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of global health, and national public health systems
- Basic familiarity with World Bank Environmental and Social Framework
- Development of project concept notes, appraisal documents, technical report writing skills
- Experience working with multi-sectoral stakeholders
- Excellent proficiency in written and verbal English with working knowledge of Bengali
- Knowledge of public health and epidemiology skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to conduct fieldwork and monitoring
- Good reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in computer skills (MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others
Compensation & Benefits
Consolidated amount of USD 810 monthly basis
