Key Responsibilities
* Drive collaborative research and policy discussions across national and regional platforms to identify key threats and opportunities, fostering strategic campaigning and advocacy efforts.
* Architect and manage coordination spaces, including virtual meetings, email lists, and online forums, to facilitate seamless communication and information sharing among stakeholders.
* Deliver targeted support to organizations navigating national and regional policy landscapes, providing expert research, policy guidance, and connections to specialist networks as needed.
* Spearhead waste trade and plastics policy initiatives in collaboration with ESDO colleagues and partners worldwide, driving progress toward a toxic-free and zero-waste future.
* Foster strategic partnerships with knowledge and learning networks, aligning ESDO's activities with organizational learning initiatives to maximize impact and coordination.
* Lead active participation in national and regional communities of practice, driving project activities forward and promoting best practices in environmental action research.
* Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies, leveraging media articles, blog posts, and other outreach methods to showcase project achievements and impact to the donor community.
* Design and produce high-quality project outreach materials, including brochures, multimedia presentations, and visual content, to communicate ESDO's mission and vision to diverse audiences.
Requirements
Experience
At least 1 year
Education
- Master of Science (MSc) in Environment, Physic, Chemistry, Geology
- Master of Law (LLM)
- Master of Development Studies (MDS)
- Master of Information & Communication Technology (MICT)
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
Additional Requirements
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in virtual communication and its applications
