* Spearhead the creation of innovative, commercially viable designs that align with the latest fashion trends, seasonal directions, and buyer requirements. * Architect and manage design development timelines, ensuring seamless coordination with cross-functional teams to meet collection launch deadlines. * Drive material selection, collaborating with design and merchandising teams to choose fabrics, yarns, colors, prints, embroidery, trims, and accessories that bring designs to life. * Develop and deliver compelling design presentations and buyer-ready materials, showcasing a deep understanding of buyer needs and preferences. * Lead the creation and maintenance of technical design documents, including sketches, technical drawings, style sheets, and specification sheets, to ensure accurate design execution. * Foster collaboration with sample, production, and merchandising teams to ensure timely and high-quality sample development, from initial concept to final approval. * Oversee the fitting, correction, and final sample approval processes, ensuring designs meet quality and brand standards. * Design and develop artwork and guidelines for prints, embroidery, and washing effects, bringing designs to life. * Analyze design costs and SMV to ensure commercial viability, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth. * Manage critical design documentation, including critical paths, sample trackers, design files, and seasonal collection records. * Participate in design briefings, presentations, and meetings with buyers and marketing teams, ensuring clear communication and effective design execution. * Coordinate high-quality product photo shoots, showcasing designs in the best possible light. * Organize and maintain a well-curated design studio, ensuring a professional and inspiring environment for buyer visits and design team collaboration. * Uphold the company's brand identity, buyer compliance standards, and quality requirements, ensuring all designs meet the highest standards.
