Drafting & Estimation Officer

* Spearhead document management by creating, organizing, and maintaining comprehensive project files, including drawings, contracts, and reports. * Drive document control and compliance by implementing version tracking, numbering, and review processes to ensure accuracy and completeness. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and update technical documents, drawings, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project standards and regulatory requirements. * Architect and maintain a centralized record-keeping system to track approvals, submissions, and correspondence, facilitating seamless communication and transparency. * Lead cost estimation efforts by analyzing project requirements, performing quantity take-offs, and developing detailed material, labor, and equipment cost estimates. * Develop and manage tender documents, rate analysis, and cost breakdowns, while evaluating subcontractor quotations and supplier prices to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks. * Support tender preparation, submission, and follow-up, ensuring timely and accurate responses to tender inquiries and requests. * Manage contract administration, including variation order documentation, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications. * Foster strong relationships with project stakeholders, including project managers, consultants, and procurement teams, to facilitate effective coordination and communication. * Develop and deliver regular project reports, providing insights into project costs, budget status, and document tracking to inform strategic decision-making and drive project success.
