Key Responsibilities
* Foster a positive work environment by bridging the communication gap between employees and management, driving open dialogue and collaboration.
* Deliver daily counseling sessions to workers, providing motivation and support to enhance job satisfaction, reduce absenteeism, and promote employee retention.
* Oversee and manage various facilities, including the canteen, waiting room, childcare center, and sanitation facilities, to ensure they meet employee needs and comply with regulations.
* Lead the childcare center, monitoring babysitter performance and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
* Manage worker amenities, including the canteen, dining area, and prayer room, to promote employee well-being and satisfaction.
* Provide guidance and support to workers on leave policies, regulations, and benefits, ensuring they receive due leave and legal benefits as per company policies and labor laws.
* Offer counseling and advice to workers and management on implementing factory regulations, promoting a culture of compliance and respect.
* Drive grievance resolution, collecting and addressing worker concerns through established procedures and ensuring timely, fair solutions that adhere to company policies and labor laws.
* Conduct regular committee meetings, including PC, Safety, Canteen, and Grievance Committee meetings, to address worker concerns and promote a positive work environment.
* Develop and implement strategies to support maternity-related issues, including creating lists of maternity workers, preparing maternity bills, and ensuring timely payments and benefits.
* Design and deliver monthly training calendars, providing compliance training, maternity benefits, health and safety training, and buyer COC training to all workers, while maintaining accurate training records.
* Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with social, technical, and safety standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Facilitate worker-management communication, rapidly addressing disagreements and promoting reconciliation through open dialogue and collaboration.
* Organize worker engagement programs and cultural events to foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
* Support compliance and audit activities, conducting daily floor visits to identify and address compliance-related issues, and coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
* Ensure all welfare activities align with Bangladesh labor laws, company HR policies, and procedures, promoting a culture of health, hygiene, and safety, and ensuring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
