Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of high-quality, specialized clinical consultations and management for obstetric, gynecological, and neonatal cases, ensuring timely and effective treatment plans.
* Drive the provision of life-saving obstetric and surgical care for maternal, newborn, and child health cases, including medico-legal emergencies, to minimize avoidable delays and optimize patient outcomes.
* Manage and ensure continuity of care for patients admitted to inpatient wards, performing roster duties to support 24/7 emergency obstetric services and guarantee seamless patient care.
* Assess and interpret patients' vital signs and clinical conditions, initiating prompt follow-up actions and interventions to optimize patient well-being and prevent complications.
* Architect and implement personalized treatment plans, prescribing medications and interventions to improve patient conditions, and providing essential information, counseling, and follow-up care to patients and their families.
* Perform and assist in Caesarean section operations, both scheduled and emergency procedures, to ensure the highest standards of maternal and newborn care, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Collaborate with Upazila Health Complex, Civil Surgeon's Office, and government institutions to improve patient flow, enhance data management, and ensure compliance with national healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and safety standards.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality, access, and equity of maternal and newborn health services, including 24/7 C-section and emergency obstetric care, to reduce morbidity and mortality rates.
* Provide professional guidance and mentorship to colleagues, sharing expertise and best practices to enhance the overall quality of care and promote a culture of excellence within the healthcare team.
