Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead project planning, operations, and monitoring, ensuring seamless execution and financial management within budget constraints.
* Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including local administration, health department, and social welfare department, to drive project success.
* Drive the development of inclusive eye health services, focusing on visual empowerment and enabling persons with visual impairments through accessible practices and services.
* Lead the implementation of high-quality project initiatives, enhancing the capabilities of Targeted Vision Centers, base hospitals, community clinics, and private service providers to serve persons with disabilities and vulnerable communities.
* Architect and implement effective strategies to establish and strengthen local-level committees related to eye health services within government structures.
* Manage and oversee the skill development and organizational growth of Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), ensuring their active participation in project activities.
* Ensure strict adherence to policies, procedures, and laws governing project implementation, financial management, and monitoring and evaluation.
* Develop and submit high-quality quarterly and narrative reports, aligning with CBM policies and guidelines.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including local authorities, health departments, and like-minded organizations, to promote project objectives and outcomes.
* Facilitate regular communication and coordination with project teams, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project goals are met and challenges are addressed.
* Oversee the establishment and maintenance of partnerships with Disabled People's Organizations (DPOs), hospitals, and private healthcare providers to enhance accessibility and inclusivity in eye health services.
Requirements
Experience
At least 8 years
Education
- Master of Social Science (MSS)
Additional Requirements
- Experience in eye health, disability inclusion, or visual rehabilitation
- Experience in collaborating with OPD, government bodies, and NGOs
- Familiarity with visual empowerment initiatives
