Community Development Organizer (CDO)

* Drive community development initiatives by designing and executing activity plans that promote participation, empowerment, and resilience among marginalized communities. * Architect and lead field surveys to identify eligible households for project participation, ensuring data-driven decision-making and targeted interventions. * Foster collaborative relationships with local government representatives, stakeholders, and community members to ensure project success and promote social cohesion. * Manage and facilitate sensitization sessions, meetings, and discussions with project participants, promoting awareness and education on key project themes. * Empower youth and young adults by identifying and supporting their enrollment in skills programs, ensuring retention and follow-up to enhance their livelihood prospects. * Develop and maintain strong connections with relevant stakeholders, including local government institutions, NGOs, CSOs, and community groups, to leverage resources and expertise. * Ensure transparent and accountable financial management, conducting transactions within the project budget and maintaining rigorous reporting standards. * Champion the integration of Social Safety Net Programs (SSNPs) into community development initiatives, facilitating access to vital support services for eligible households. * Facilitate meaningful engagement with communities, project participants, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and feedback to inform project implementation and improvement. * Represent the organization in community engagements, promoting its mission and values while building trust and credibility with local stakeholders. * Fostering partnerships with youth committees, groups, and associations to support Project Coordinators, Livelihood Technical Officers, and other team members in achieving project objectives.
