Executive (Credit Recovery & Legal)

* Spearhead credit control and monitoring efforts to ensure adherence to approved credit limits and periods * Drive timely recovery of outstanding debts through regular follow-ups, phone calls, field visits, and meetings * Develop and implement effective recovery plans, leveraging post-dated cheques, bank guarantees, and other securities * Lead legal activities, including drafting and sending legal notices, handling cheque dishonors, loan defaults, and contract breaches * Collaborate with lawyers, law enforcement, and relevant authorities to pursue legal action and court proceedings * Manage and maintain accurate records of dealer agreements, credit agreements, guarantee documents, and court files * Ensure compliance with company credit policies and legal requirements, identifying and mitigating potential risks * Foster strong relationships with sales, accounts, and management teams to drive recovery efforts and identify high-risk dealers * Design and propose settlement agreements with dealers as needed, and provide regular progress reports to management * Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on outstanding debts, recovery progress, and legal case status * Conduct credit risk assessments for new dealers, identify potential defaulters, and implement preventive measures to minimize future bad debt risks * Develop and maintain a list of suspicious or high-risk dealers, and implement strategies to reduce potential losses * Proactively identify and address potential risks, ensuring the company's credit policies and procedures are up-to-date and effective * Perform other duties as assigned by management, ensuring seamless execution of credit control and recovery operations
