Key Responsibilities

* Spearhead budget management for procurement, LC payments, and supplier settlements on a monthly basis. * Oversee and scrutinize quotations, comparative statements, and work orders to ensure accuracy and compliance before approval. * Drive the preparation, verification, and submission of documents for Letter of Credit (LC) opening with banks, ensuring seamless processing. * Foster strong relationships with banks through regular communication, facilitating efficient LC processing, amendments, and settlements. * Collaborate with C&F agents to streamline the clearance of imported raw and packaging materials, minimizing delays and maximizing efficiency. * Develop and present insightful commercial and management reports to senior management, informing strategic decision-making. * Lead the evaluation and comparison of quotations from international vendors and suppliers, identifying the best value for imported materials. * Verify and authorize bills from local suppliers, ensuring timely payment processing and maintaining strong supplier relationships. * Architect export-related documentation and shipment processes in conjunction with the IMD Department, ensuring compliance and efficiency. * Ensure adherence to the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2006 and Public Procurement Rules (PPR) 2008, maintaining the highest standards of compliance in procurement and commercial activities. * Monitor and manage import documentation, including PI, CI, BL, Packing List, and other shipping documents, to guarantee accuracy and compliance. * Maintain meticulous records of commercial transactions, import files, and supplier agreements, ensuring transparency and accountability. * Proactively follow up with suppliers, banks, and regulatory authorities to guarantee timely delivery, compliance, and issue resolution.
