Key Responsibilities
* Spearhead the strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of MRT Line-6 project initiatives to deliver on time, within budget, and to exacting quality standards.
* Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including DMTCL, contractors, consultants, JICA, and government agencies, to drive project success.
* Champion contract compliance, ensuring adherence to technical specifications, approved drawings, and regulatory requirements.
* Drive construction progress, tracking milestones and schedules to guarantee timely project delivery.
* Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize impact.
* Architect and approve comprehensive work programs, method statements, and execution plans to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Oversee rigorous quality assurance and control measures across construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
* Uphold the highest standards of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) protocols, ensuring a safe and responsible project environment.
* Manage project finances, controlling budget variances, and verifying contractors' payment claims to ensure fiscal integrity.
* Navigate complex contractual issues, including variations, claims, and dispute resolution, to protect project interests.
* Coordinate logistics with government agencies, facilitating land acquisition, utility relocation, and interface management.
* Supervise the testing, commissioning, and handover of Line-6 infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition to operational status.
* Develop and submit regular progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation to stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability.
* Empower DMTCL staff through capacity-building initiatives and knowledge transfer, promoting sustainable project legacy.
* Ensure a successful project close-out, managing defect liability, and securing final acceptance of works to conclude the project lifecycle.
