* Spearhead sample development initiatives, driving the creation of prototypes, fit samples, size sets, and production-ready samples that meet buyer deadlines. * Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Industrial Engineering, CAD, Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing, to ensure cohesive sample development processes. * Architect sample development strategies, reviewing tech packs, buyer feedback, and specifications to inform sample execution and ensure alignment with buyer requirements. * Lead sample operators, pattern makers, and cutting teams to optimize workflow efficiency and productivity. * Drive quality control, verifying that samples meet buyer specifications, including pattern accuracy, measurements, and construction standards, to minimize rework and rejection. * Oversee fabric and trim allocation, ensuring judicious utilization and minimizing waste. * Develop and maintain comprehensive sample tracking reports, providing real-time updates on sample status and progress. * Coordinate with value-added service providers, such as washing, printing, and embroidery specialists, to ensure timely and high-quality sample completion. * Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during sample development, implementing solutions that meet company standards and buyer requirements. * Champion compliance with company standards, buyer specifications, and quality protocols, ensuring that all sample development activities adhere to stringent quality and regulatory guidelines.
