* Spearhead the sample development process, driving it from prototype to shipment stage with precision and timeliness. * Architect and execute a comprehensive sampling strategy, ensuring on-time delivery of all sample types. * Decode technical requirements, analyzing tech packs, buyer feedback, and design specs to inform accurate sample production. * Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, IE, Production, Quality, and Planning. * Oversee pattern making, cutting, sewing, and finishing operations, guaranteeing flawless sample execution. * Drive quality control, scrutinizing fit, measurement, construction, and styling to meet buyer standards. * Optimize sample room operations, effectively managing capacity, planning, and workload distribution. * Champion resource utilization, ensuring efficient use of fabrics and trims for sampling purposes. * Coordinate with value-added service providers, such as washing, printing, and embroidery specialists. * Provide technical expertise to the sample team, empowering them to tackle complex garment construction challenges. * Lead sample fitting sessions, implementing corrective actions and ensuring buyer specifications are met. * Develop and maintain a robust sample tracking system, delivering timely status updates and insights. * Mentor and train sample team members, including pattern masters, operators, and cutters, to elevate their skills. * Ensure adherence to buyer requirements, quality standards, and company policies, maintaining a culture of compliance. * Serve as a liaison with buyers, communicating sample development progress and approvals as needed. * Pioneer process improvements, driving sampling efficiency, productivity, and quality excellence. * Embrace technical innovations, integrating them into sampling operations to stay ahead of the curve. * Guarantee accurate pattern development, leveraging both manual and CAD techniques to inform sample production. * Conduct rigorous sample fittings, validating that samples meet buyer specifications and expectations.
