DGM (IE & Planning)

* Drive the development and execution of annual, monthly, weekly, and daily production plans, aligning with order commitments and management priorities. * Architect effective production scheduling for Spinning and Yarn Dyeing sections to optimize output and efficiency. * Monitor production progress in real-time, making adjustments as needed to address urgent shipments, machine breakdowns, or material shortages. * Foster cross-functional collaboration with Commercial, Store, Maintenance, QA, HR, and Production departments to ensure seamless operations. * Lead the achievement of shipment and internal delivery targets, ensuring timely completion and exceeding customer expectations. * Develop and manage machine capacity plans, manpower budgets, and shift plans to maximize resource utilization. * Optimize machine utilization, minimizing idle time and reducing waste to boost productivity. * Ensure the availability of raw materials, packing materials, dyes, chemicals, and accessories, aligning with production plans and forecasts. * Collaborate with Marketing/Merchandising departments to ensure pre-PCD activities are completed, driving business growth and customer satisfaction. * Conduct lead time studies, motion studies, process mapping, and method improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency. * Analyze and address production losses, downtime, bottlenecks, and wastage, implementing corrective actions to minimize impact. * Implement Lean Manufacturing and cost-saving initiatives, driving continuous improvement and process optimization. * Prepare and submit key reports, including Daily Production Reports, Efficiency Reports, Capacity Reports, and MIS, providing actionable insights to management. * Develop and present Plan vs Actual analysis, identifying areas for improvement and informing strategic decisions. * Ensure adherence to the Time & Action (T&A) calendar, aligning cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing plans to meet customer demands. * Design and implement improvement proposals and corrective action plans, driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. * Spearhead the implementation of ERP systems, enhancing planning accuracy and process efficiency. * Standardize planning processes and SOPs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. * Balance loading across factories, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing bottlenecks. * Oversee production processes, managing operations within agreed KPIs and driving business performance. * Embrace a culture of continuous improvement, taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management to drive business growth and success.
