Key Responsibilities
* Drive the delivery of high-quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services by providing technical and clinical expertise in antenatal care, postnatal care, safe delivery, newborn care, and child health services.
* Architect clinical protocols, standards, and best practices in MNCH, offering expert guidance to project teams and ensuring adherence to national guidelines and protocols.
* Lead clinical supervision and mentoring sessions for Medical Officers, midwives, and Paramedics, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
* Manage and ensure the quality of care, reviewing and analyzing service delivery data to inform quality improvement initiatives and provide actionable recommendations.
* Develop and implement strategies to support the management of obstetric and neonatal complications, including referral mechanisms and emergency response plans.
* Design and deliver capacity-building sessions, trainings, and on-the-job coaching for health staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge in MNCH services.
* Collaborate in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities, including clinical audits and assessments, to drive data-informed decision-making and improve service delivery.
* Analyze and interpret service delivery data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and providing insights to inform project planning and implementation.
* Foster integration of MNCH services with nutrition, family planning, and primary healthcare, promoting a holistic approach to healthcare delivery.
* Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government health authorities and stakeholders, leveraging these relationships to strengthen service delivery and improve health outcomes.
* Champion ethical standards, patient safety, and infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of safety and respect.
* Develop and provide technical input for project reports, proposals, and donor communications, ensuring high-quality and impactful storytelling.
* Support emergency health responses and outbreak management, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
* Document and disseminate best practices, lessons learned, and case studies, contributing to the development of a knowledge-sharing culture and informing future project design and implementation.

Strong knowledge of national MNCH guidelines and international standardsDemonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and clinical supervisionStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and report-writing skillsAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams and diverse field settingsProficiency in MS Office and data analysis toolsFluency in Bangla and working knowledge of English
Education
- MBBS Degree
- Master`s or Higher Degree in Public Health
Additional Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in a relevant field area
- Minimum 10 years of clinical experience
- Experience working as a consultant or in supervisory/technical advisory roles
- Strong knowledge of national MNCH guidelines and international standards
- Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and clinical supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and diverse field settings
- Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
- Fluency in Bangla and working knowledge of English
