Asst. Manager - Commercial

* Spearhead the import process for raw materials, machinery, and accessories, ensuring seamless execution. * Architect and manage Letter of Credit (LC) operations, including opening, amendments, and documentation. * Drive supplier engagement, tracking shipment schedules and ensuring timely deliveries. * Collaborate with Customs and Freight (C&F) agents to facilitate efficient customs clearance. * Ensure adherence to Harmonized System (HS) codes and duty/tax compliance, mitigating potential risks. * Foster strong relationships with banking institutions to facilitate LC, Back-to-Back LC, and loan settlements. * Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including Bangladesh Bank, Customs, and Bond regulations. * Manage documentation for UD, BGMEA, and other relevant authorities. * Orchestrate logistics and coordination efforts with production, store, and merchandising teams to ensure alignment. * Monitor shipment status, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement. * Optimize freight and logistics costs, implementing strategies to minimize expenses. * Maintain a centralized repository of commercial documents and records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility. * Develop and distribute reports on shipment, import, and export status, enabling informed decision-making. * Coordinate audit-related activities, including document preparation and management for internal and external audits.
