Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of comprehensive Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) services at health facilities and during outreach activities, ensuring high-quality care and support.
* Drive antenatal care (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC) services, promoting safe delivery practices and managing common illnesses affecting women and children.
* Architect and implement effective Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (EmONC) services, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
* Manage and supervise medical assistants, midwives, and community health workers, providing guidance and support to enhance MNCH service delivery.
* Champion infection prevention and control (IPC) measures, ensuring strict adherence to protocols at all service delivery points.
* Develop and maintain accurate patient records, registers, and reporting formats, submitting regular reports to project management and stakeholders.
* Collaborate with government stakeholders, including the District Civil Surgeon and District Family Planning Office, to ensure effective coordination and project implementation.
* Oversee the availability and rational use of essential medicines, equipment, and supplies, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
* Support data-driven decision making by contributing to data collection, monitoring, and evaluation activities, and responding to health emergencies and outbreaks as needed.
* Foster a culture of adherence to organizational policies, ethical standards, and national health protocols, ensuring high-quality care and services.
* Craft and submit donor reports, providing insights into project progress and impact, and informing future programming and decision making.
* Empower communities through health education and awareness sessions on MNCH-related issues, promoting healthy behaviors and practices.
* Ensure seamless integration of family planning counseling and services, immunization support, and nutrition counseling into MNCH services, addressing the holistic needs of women and children.

Experience
At least 10 years
Skills
Strong knowledge of national MNCH guidelines and clinical protocolsSound clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and under challenging conditionsBasic computer skills, including MS Office and reporting tools
Education
- MBBS
Additional Requirements
- Valid BMDC registration
- Experience in NGO
- Experience in MNCH, public health, or clinical service delivery
- Strong knowledge of national MNCH guidelines and clinical protocols
- Sound clinical, diagnostic, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and under challenging conditions
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office and reporting tools
- Fluency in Bangla
