Key Responsibilities

* Drive the implementation of MIHR project activities across the district, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones. * Architect district-level work plans and budgets, aligning with core strategies and principles to achieve project objectives, in collaboration with key stakeholders. * Manage project staff, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring effective internal communication to foster a high-performing team. * Oversee the quality of project activities, establishing monitoring mechanisms, including supportive supervision systems and performance tracking, to produce monthly and quarterly reports. * Foster strategic partnerships with government stakeholders, including the District Civil Surgeon, District Family Planning Office, and Hill District Council, to secure their support and active participation in project implementation. * Represent the organization at district and sub-district level forums, sharing project updates, lessons learned, and best practices to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. * Spearhead emergency response and public health interventions during outbreaks or disasters, ensuring timely and effective support. * Ensure compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and safeguarding standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and accountability. * Optimize project budget management, driving value for money and efficient resource allocation. * Develop and submit high-quality donor reports, meeting all requirements and deadlines, to maintain transparency and accountability.

Education

  • Master's degree in Social Sciences, Social Work or any relevant field

  • Project management experience in development organizations
  • Experience working with government functionaries, local government institutions, and private and non-government organizations
  • Project management, team leadership, human resource management, administration, and financial and budget management skills
  • Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload
  • Ability to contribute to building a proactive team
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English
  • Prior working experience with local communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT)
