DGM / Head of Finance & Accounts

* Spearhead the Finance & Accounts function, driving financial excellence and regulatory compliance across the organization * Architect and implement robust financial management systems, ensuring seamless daily accounting operations and data integrity * Drive tax strategy and compliance, managing corporate taxation, VAT, TDS, and VDS, and ensuring timely submissions to the National Board of Revenue (NBR) * Develop and deliver high-quality financial reports, including annual financial statements and periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports, to inform business decisions * Foster strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies, including the Bangladesh Bank, to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth operations * Lead cash flow management, budgeting, and working capital optimization, ensuring the organization's financial stability and growth * Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including RJSC, corporate governance, and statutory compliance, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing regulations * Oversee freight-related accounting, invoicing, and feeder freight collection, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions * Manage contract review, trade licenses, and customs license renewals, mitigating risks and ensuring business continuity * Supervise HR administrative tasks, including employee documentation, payroll processing, bonuses, and employee benefits, to support the organization's talent management strategy * Provide financial certificates and support as required, ensuring employee satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements
