Key Responsibilities
* Drive financial transparency and operational efficiency by overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining strong internal controls.
* Architect and manage the preparation, review, and finalization of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, to inform strategic business decisions.
* Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of general ledger reconciliations and financial activities.
* Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger reconciliations, leveraging ERP/Tally systems to optimize financial performance.
* Develop and execute comprehensive budget plans, annual operation plans, and performance analyses, complete with variance reporting to drive business growth.
* Oversee the preparation and review of showroom accounts, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Spearhead accounting and reporting for inventories, assets, and related party transactions, reconciling with ERP/Tally balances to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Conduct product costing, cost analysis, business planning, and financial forecasting to drive informed decision-making and strategic growth.
* Ensure regulatory compliance with income tax, value-added tax, and other fiscal requirements, mitigating risk and optimizing financial performance.
* Collaborate with internal and external auditors to complete financial statements, implement audit recommendations, and maintain a robust financial control environment.
* Lead and manage the accounts team, fostering a culture of financial excellence and operational efficiency to drive business success.
* Develop and implement financial policies, conducting business case analyses to support strategic decision-making and drive growth.
* Provide strategic financial guidance to management, enabling data-driven decision-making and driving business expansion.
Requirements
Experience
7 to 10 years
Education
- Master of Business Administration (MBA)
- Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration
- CA (Chartered Accountancy) Course Completed
- CMA Partly Qualified
- ACCA Partly Qualified
Additional Requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards
- Excellent command in Excel, ERP systems/Tally (SAP/Oracle/Prism etc.)
- Strong communication, team leadership & analytical ability
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
