Key Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of Responsive and Prevention activities, ensuring comprehensive case management services and community-based Child Protection initiatives.
* Supervise and support a team of Officer - Case Work, MPCAC Facilitators, Community Mobilizers, and Para – Social Workers to deliver high-quality child protection services.
* Drive the management of Child Protection Offices, children's clubs, and community-based programs, including life skills sessions, positive parenting meetings, and child-friendly space activities.
* Foster a culture of capacity building, community mobilization, and internal and external coordination to promote child protection and well-being.
* Collaborate with partner organizations to provide technical support and guidance on child protection best practices.
* Architect and deliver training and capacity enhancement programs for staff and partners to ensure a skilled and knowledgeable workforce.
* Manage and coordinate the delivery of Psychosocial Support (PSS) services, ensuring a child-centered and protective approach.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community leaders, partner organizations, and government agencies.
* Drive innovation and excellence in child protection programming, ensuring that services are responsive, effective, and sustainable.
Requirements
Experience
At least 3 years
Education
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as social science, anthropology or development studies or any other relevant department.
Additional Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in a humanitarian / development in Child Protection/GBV or General Protection program.
- Knowledge on child rights and child protection issues in Bangladesh.
- Strong technical understanding of child protection and community-based approaches.
- Experience in running recreational and psychosocial activities for children and familiar with community-based approaches to GBV and case management system.
- Experience in interviewing, collecting data and reporting of child protection work.
- Experience in documenting, preserving quantitative and qualitative data.
- Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting.
- Has good working knowledge on using MS Office and internet.
