Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of child protection strategies, driving the delivery of high-impact programs that safeguard children's rights and well-being.
* Manage and supervise a team of child protection professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in the assessment, coordination, and evaluation of child protection interventions.
* Architect and maintain effective partnerships with local agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of child protection services, including case management, community-based initiatives, and adolescent programs.
* Drive the design and implementation of community-based child protection programs, including the formation and follow-up of adolescents' clubs, to promote a culture of safety and protection.
* Oversee the monitoring and evaluation of child protection programs, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement to maximize impact and outcomes.
* Provide technical expertise and support to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs and services that meet the needs of vulnerable children and communities.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of program activities, events, and learning, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
* Ensure timely and efficient logistics and operational support, facilitating the smooth implementation of programs and activities.
Requirements
Experience
At least 3 years
Education
- Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline such as social science, anthropology or development studies or any other relevant department.
Additional Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience within a development organization, and at least two years’ experience in a management position.
- Experience working in child protection programmes.
- Experience in interviewing and reporting on development works.
- Experience in documenting, analyzing and summarizing qualitative data.
- Experience in providing / facilitating training, meeting.
- Has good working knowledge on using MS Office, and internet.
