Key Responsibilities
* Architect and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for fabrics and accessories, cultivating a diverse and resilient supplier network through rigorous evaluation and partner selection.
* Drive supplier discovery and onboarding, leveraging global connections to identify and integrate new partners that meet quality, cost, and compliance standards.
* Optimize costs without sacrificing quality or compliance, ensuring a delicate balance between fiscal responsibility and supply chain integrity.
* Analyze and interpret market trends, raw material pricing, and global supply chain risks to inform data-driven sourcing decisions.
* Negotiate and secure favorable pricing and lead times, streamlining procurement processes and inventory management to meet production demands.
* Identify and mitigate cost drivers, such as fabric, trims, logistics, and currency fluctuations, to maintain a competitive edge.
* Design and implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency.
* Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with merchandising, production, and planning teams to ensure seamless supply chain coordination.
* Manage inventory levels, logistics, and shipment coordination to guarantee timely availability of raw materials and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
* Champion compliance and sustainability initiatives, ensuring materials meet stringent quality and safety standards while promoting eco-friendly practices.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, utilizing ERP systems to drive forecasting and mentoring a high-performing sourcing team.
* Lead, develop, and empower the sourcing team, providing guidance and expertise to drive strategic sourcing excellence.

Education
- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Engineering
Additional Requirements
- Deep knowledge of fabric, accessories, and industry standards
- Digital proficiency (ERP/PLM), with excellent bilingual communication (English/Bangla)
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, washing, and production processes
- Proven experience in supplier negotiation and global sourcing
- Familiarity with compliance standards (BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, etc)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
