Key Responsibilities

* Drive quality excellence by monitoring production processes and conducting in-process checks to ensure adherence to established standards. * Lead investigative efforts into quality issues and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Architect and maintain a robust quality control framework, including risk assessments, inspections, and testing of raw materials and finished products. * Manage and optimize process parameters to achieve consistent product quality, tracking trends and implementing necessary adjustments. * Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, coordinating with procurement to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Develop and deliver high-quality reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly quality updates, to inform business decisions. * Perform routine testing and analysis, including fineness, IR, LOI, and chemical analysis by XRF, to ensure compliance with international standards (BDS EN, ASTM, BIS). * Ensure seamless calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, demonstrating expertise in XRF operation and other specialized testing methods. * Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams (QA, Production, RM, and Supply Chain) to optimize workflows and enhance process efficiency. * Prioritize safety and accuracy, striving for zero incidents and accidents while maintaining the highest standards of product quality. * Plan and organize work shifts to ensure timely completion of departmental activities, maintaining meticulous documentation and record-keeping in line with standard procedures. * Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to investigate complaints, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.

QA/QC in Cement Industry

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of product specifications (ASTM, BDS-EN & BIS) & Concrete technology
  • Experience in Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Cement Industry, Paint
