Key Responsibilities

* Drive student growth by designing and delivering interactive, inquiry-based lessons that align with the IB Primary Years Programme * Cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic, social, emotional, and personal development * Architect transdisciplinary units of inquiry that promote student agency and autonomy * Lead formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction * Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, colleagues, and school leadership, to ensure effective communication and student success * Develop and implement personalized learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of students * Contribute to curriculum development, school events, and professional growth initiatives that enhance teaching practices * Champion co-curricular and community engagement initiatives that promote student well-being and school spirit * For Trainee Teachers: * Partner with experienced mentors to refine teaching skills and practices * Support classroom instruction and student learning under the guidance of experienced educators * Engage in structured professional development and training programmes to enhance teaching expertise

Experience

At least 2 years

Education

  • Master of Science (MSc)
  • Master of Arts (MA) in English
  • Master of Education (M.Ed)
  • Masters

Additional Requirements

  • Strong understanding of child-centered and inquiry-based learning
  • Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is highly preferred
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
  • Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional growth
  • Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years
  • IB PYP training or workshop certification
  • Experience in concept-based teaching and transdisciplinary learning
  • Proficiency in educational technology, including Google Workspace and digital learning platforms
  • Ability to contribute to extracurricular and enrichment programmes
  • Creative, reflective, and collaborative teaching approach
