* Spearhead preparation for Cambridge Checkpoint and internal assessments, ensuring students are well-equipped to succeed.
* Monitor student progress, providing regular, constructive feedback that informs instruction and accelerates learning.
* Tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, leveraging innovative strategies to support inclusive learning.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including colleagues, parents, and school leaders, to create a cohesive support network that propels student success.
* Drive professional growth through active participation in development opportunities, curriculum planning, and school events, staying abreast of best practices and industry trends.
* Enrich the school community by contributing to language and literature-related co-curricular and extracurricular activities, inspiring a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Requirements
Experience
At least 2 years
Skills
Experience preparing students for Cambridge Checkpoint assessmentsFamiliarity with differentiated instruction and innovative assessment practicesProficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other educational technology platformsInterest in literary activities, debates, public speaking, and extracurricular programmes
Education
- Master of Arts (MA) in English
Additional Requirements
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge Lower Secondary English curriculum
- Excellent command of spoken and written English
- Ability to deliver engaging, student-centered, and inquiry-based lessons
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Skilled in developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking abilities
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning
- Willingness to relocate to Narsingdi and commit for at least two years
