Key Responsibilities

* Drive the implementation of programme activities, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with objectives * Deliver technical, operational, and administrative support, including procurement, subaward management, and drafting of agreements and contracts * Architect programme documentation, including planning, implementation, and donor reports, and craft external correspondence in English and Bangla * Coordinate logistics, scheduling appointments with government counterparts and stakeholders for senior staff * Organize and facilitate workshops, events, and meetings, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder engagement * Develop and disseminate programme-related publications and materials, amplifying the programme's impact and reach * Lead monitoring, evaluation, adaptation, and learning (MEAL) efforts, analyzing data to inform programme strategies and decision-making * Stay abreast of sectoral trends, policies, and developments, providing actionable insights to programme teams * Foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, partners, and non-state actors, to advance programme goals * Manage data collection and analysis, providing critical inputs to programme planning and implementation * Collaborate with senior staff to develop and refine programme implementation strategies, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and donor requirements * Provide administrative support, ensuring compliance with internal systems and procedures, including procurement and subaward management

Requirements

Experience

At least 3 years

Skills

Knowledge of Bangladesh's governance systems, structures, and practicesKnowledge of and/or experience in public administration and/or public financial managementKnowledge of and/or experience in political economy analysis (PEA), adaptive management and iterative approaches, and codesign processes with multiple stakeholdersStrong communication and organisational skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced working environmentProfessional curiosity and openness to learn and apply new approaches and ways of workingExcellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bangla

Education

  • Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
  • Bachelor's degree in political science, public administration, development studies, sociology, anthropology, economics, or any relevant social science discipline

Additional Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar position for a donor-funded development sector programme
  • Prior experience supporting governance programming, research, gender-sensitive interventions, and/or monitoring, evaluation, adaptation, and learning
  • Prior experience working with FCDO and/or other donor-funded programmes would be an advantage
