Key Responsibilities

* Drive the development, review, and implementation of PSEA and Child Safeguarding policies, ensuring alignment with international standards, local laws, and organizational guidelines. * Architect training programs for staff, volunteers, and community members, fostering a deep understanding of PSEA and Child Safeguarding principles and practices. * Establish and manage a confidential reporting mechanism for incidents, conducting prompt and thorough investigations with a victim-centered approach. * Lead the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness of PSEA and Child Safeguarding initiatives. * Engage with the Rohingya community to raise awareness about PSEA and Child Safeguarding, facilitating community-based mechanisms for reporting and addressing safeguarding concerns. * Collaborate with stakeholders, including NGOs, government agencies, and other organizations, to share information and coordinate efforts in protecting children and vulnerable populations. * Champion the integration of PSEA and Child Safeguarding principles into all aspects of the education project, promoting awareness among stakeholders about the importance of safeguarding. * Ensure policy compliance, upholding the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and promoting awareness among team members and stakeholders about the importance of policy adherence. * Foster a culture of safeguarding, serving as a key resource for guidance, support, and knowledge on PSEA and Child Safeguarding, and ensuring team members are protected from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation. * Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with relevant authorities and organizations to address legal and protective measures, driving a comprehensive approach to safeguarding and PSEA.

Strong computer skillsMicrosoft Office packageFluency in relevant languagesStrong facilitation skillsExcellent English and Bangla oral and written communication skills

Education

  • Postgraduate/Master’s degree in social science, Law, Gender and related discipline
